Origin and character background
Albedo is one of the most iconic and popular characters from the globally successful light novel Overlord, written by Kugane Maruyama and brilliantly adapted into a manga and anime series. As Regent of the Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, she oversees the activities of the various floor guardians and manages the day-to-day affairs of this legendary fortress. A succubus of divine beauty clad in an immaculate white gown, she is distinguished by her slender horns and magnificent jet-black feathered wings, which contrast with her angelic appearance. Harbouring an obsessive, passionate and sometimes comical love for her creator and absolute master, the powerful undead Ainz Ooal Gown, she shows ruthless cruelty towards anyone who dares to oppose the designs of the Great Tomb. Banpresto has applied all its expertise here to faithfully recreate the delicacy of her black hair, the delicate curves of her figure and the intricate details of her draped wings.
