From One Piece, this Banpresto figurine depicts Sabo, Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army and Luffy and Ace’s sworn brother. Part of the Grandista Special Edition collection, this version, standing approximately 19 cm tall, captures the character in a particularly dynamic pose as he uses the powers of the Mera Mera no Mi. The figure has a depth of approximately 23 cm.
Sabo is depicted in a wide combat stance, with his legs bent and his upper body leaning forwards. He wears a blue shirt under a white waistcoat, dark trousers, black boots and his long brown coat, which is thrown back behind him by the movement. His blonde hair remains fully visible in this interpretation, whilst his face takes on a focused expression.
The central feature of this Special Edition is his right arm, around which a striking effect of translucent orange and red flames unfurls. The flames rise from his forearm up to his shoulder and extend behind the character, directly embodying the powers inherited from the Mera Mera no Mi. This design clearly sets this edition apart from the more traditional Grandista depictions of Sabo and places greater emphasis on his role as a fighter.

Sabo is the sworn brother of Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace. The three grew up together near the Kingdom of Goa and sealed their brotherhood by sharing a cup of sake. Born into a noble family whose values he rejects, Sabo dreamt from childhood of setting sail and living freely. However, his ship was destroyed by a Celestial Dragon shortly after he set out, leaving Luffy and Ace convinced that he was dead.
Sabo survives thanks to Monkey D. Dragon, who takes him in within the Revolutionary Army. Having lost his memories in the accident, he grew up within the organisation before becoming its Chief of Staff, one of its most important members. The news of Ace’s death at Marineford finally allowed him to regain his memory and recall his childhood with his two brothers.
In Dressrosa, Sabo is reunited with Luffy and takes his place in the Corrida Colosseum tournament in order to recover the Mera Mera no Mi, Ace’s former Devil Fruit. He wins the tournament and eats the fruit, thereby inheriting the ability to create, manipulate and transform his body into fire. He then incorporates these new powers into his own fighting style, notably the Ryusoken, a martial art that relies primarily on the power of his fingers and hands.
This Grandista Special Edition specifically highlights this evolution of the character: Sabo is depicted not only as an officer in the Revolutionary Army, but as the heir to Ace’s fire powers, with his arm engulfed in flames as he strikes a fighting pose.
