Origin and background of the character
Sabo is the spiritual brother-in-arms of Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace, hailing from the pirate adventure universe of One Piece created by manga artist Eiichiro Oda. Born into nobility in the Kingdom of Goa, he rejected his status to live freely in the grey zone before setting sail, where his ship was struck by a Celestial Dragon. Saved from drowning by Monkey D. Dragon, he joined the Revolutionary Army, rising through the ranks to become the official second-in-command and the flamboyant chief of staff of the global rebellion. In Dressrosa, he inherits Ace’s will by winning the Colosseum tournament, thereby assimilating the fiery powers of the Fire-Fire Fruit (Mera Mera no Mi).
This 17 cm figurine perfectly captures all the character’s elegance, natural nobility and determination in his quest for justice. The sculpture meticulously highlights his iconic revolutionary outfit, including his long, dark coat with flowing folds, his realistic leather boots, his white scarf and his famous top hat adorned with his protective goggles. The finely crafted expression on his face, marked by his steely gaze and the distinctive scar around his left eye, perfectly captures the hero’s courage, making this an essential addition to bring a revolutionary touch to your collection.
