Origin and character background (Lore)
In the One Piece universe, Nico Robin, nicknamed ‘The Devil’s Child’, is the sole survivor of the tragic Buster Call that destroyed her home island, Ohara. Hunted by the World Government from the age of eight, with a colossal bounty on her head, she survived for two decades in the shadows by allying herself with various criminal organisations, before finding her true family with Monkey D. Luffy. Her Devil Fruit, the Hana Hana no Mi (Blooming Fruit), grants her the extraordinary ability to make parts of her own body, such as arms or eyes, sprout from any surface or structure within her reach. As the only person in the world capable of deciphering the ancient texts engraved on the Poneglyphs, she holds the key to locating the ancient weapon Pluton and uncovering the historical truth of the Forgotten Century. This figurine celebrates the erudition, resilience and mysterious beauty of this exceptional pirate.
