Origin and background of the character
Sakazuki, feared worldwide under his former alias Admiral Akainu (the Red Dog), embodies the most radical and inflexible doctrine of "Absolute Justice" in the masterpiece One Piece, born from the imagination of mangaka Eiichiro Oda. Promoted to the rank of Chief Admiral of the Navy following a legendary ten-day duel against his former counterpart Kuzan on Punk Hazard Island, he possesses the cataclysmic powers of the Magma Fruit (Magu Magu no Mi). This Logia-type Devil Fruit allows him to transform his body into molten rock and generate waves of lava capable of consuming absolutely everything in their path, making him one of the most fearsome executioners during the memorable War at Marineford.
This 12 cm figurine from the "Figure Life" collection perfectly captures the dark and menacing presence of this supreme commander of the forces of law and order. The sculpt meticulously highlights his high-ranking military attire, including his elegant purple suit, his official Navy cap firmly perched on his head, and his long officer’s coat draped over his shoulders. The icy, determined expression on his face perfectly conveys the character’s ruthless nature, making him an essential addition to illustrate the supremacy of Justice in the face of the age of piracy.
