Origin and world of the character
This line of figurines commemorates the thirtieth anniversary of the cinema release of the animated volume film The Strange Christmas Carol (conceived by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick). The story takes place in the town of Halloween, a fantastic city populated by monsters, ghosts and folk creatures whose job it is to prepare for the annual Halloween party. Jack Skellington, an elegant skeleton nicknamed the 'Pumpkin King', is the master of ceremonies of this community. Bored by the repetitive nature of his duties, he stumbles upon Christmas Town. Seduced by the unique festive atmosphere, he decides to make the celebration his own and plan his own version, which leads to a series of unforeseen disruptions in the organisation of the festivities.
