Character background and universe (Lore)
Yamato is an experienced shinobi from Konohagakure and a member of the ANBU special forces. Calm, cautious and methodical, he is notably chosen to temporarily lead the team comprising Naruto, Sakura and Sai when Kakashi is unavailable.
His most distinctive feature is his ability to use Mokuton, or the Wood Release. This extremely rare ability stems from experiments carried out on him during his childhood using cells from the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju.
Thanks to this power, Yamato can summon and control wood to create structures, immobilise his opponents or protect his allies. His abilities also enable him to help control the Kyûbi’s chakra when it begins to take over Naruto – a feature that PLAYMOBIL highlights directly
