Discover Orochimaru in a dark and dynamic portrayal with this collectable figurine from Banpresto. Standing approximately 11 cm tall, it depicts the famous renegade ninja in a crouched, menacing pose, surrounded by effects evoking snakes and the techniques associated with him.
Orochimaru is depicted crouching, with one hand resting on the ground and the other outstretched to the side. His menacing expression is accentuated by his yellow eyes, his very pale complexion and his long, extended tongue. His black hair falls around his face and flows down his back, reinforcing the eerie nature of the composition.
The character wears his iconic outfit, consisting of a beige tunic, dark trousers and a wide purple cord tied around his waist. Several purple snakes appear behind him, whilst a white effect around the base gives the impression that he is emerging in the midst of a summoning or an attack. This compact design effectively captures the character’s visual identity despite the figurine’s small size.
Orochimaru is one of Konoha’s three legendary ninjas, alongside Jiraiya and Tsunade. A former pupil of the Third Hokage, he distinguished himself from an early age through his intelligence, his mastery of a wide range of techniques and his obsessive interest in the secrets of ninjutsu.
Driven by a desire to acquire all knowledge and achieve immortality, Orochimaru conducts forbidden experiments and develops a technique enabling him to transfer his spirit into new bodies. His close connection with snakes is evident in his summons, transformations and numerous attacks. A major antagonist for much of the series, he remains a complex, unpredictable character who plays a central role in the development of several protagonists, notably Sasuke Uchiha.
