NARUTO - Naruto Uzumaki - Figure Grandista 19cm

This Banpresto figurine depicts Naruto Uzumaki as part of the Grandista collection, a range renowned for its large-scale sculptures and the attention paid to the characters’ visual presence. Standing approximately 19 cm tall, this version showcases the hero of Konoha in his famous orange outfit, with intricate sculpting that captures not only his expression but also the volume and folds of his clothing.

Naruto retains all the features immediately associated with the character: his spiky blonde hair, his blue eyes, the three distinctive marks on each cheek, and his headband bearing the symbol of the Hidden Leaf Village. His outfit combines the orange and black tones that have become emblematic of his ninja appearance, with precise sculpting of the seams, folds and varying thicknesses of the fabric.

The Grandista collection prioritises relatively realistic proportions and a more imposing presence than the smaller-scale Banpresto prize figures. Despite its 19 cm height, this figure thus boasts a sufficiently broad and detailed silhouette to highlight Naruto’s determined demeanour and his fighter’s physique.

Character background and lore

Naruto Uzumaki is the son of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and Kushina Uzumaki. On the day of his birth, Kyûbi, the Nine-Tailed Fox, attacked Konoha. To save the village, Minato sealed part of the creature inside his newborn son. Naruto therefore grew up as the Kyûbi’s jinchûriki, a situation that led many of the village’s inhabitants to keep him at a distance during his childhood.

A disruptive pupil, regularly regarded as one of the least talented at the Ninja Academy, Naruto nevertheless harbours a very clear ambition: to become Hokage in order to gain the recognition of the whole village. After receiving his ninja headband from Iruka Umino, he joined Team 7 alongside Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, under the leadership of Kakashi Hatake.

His determination, his refusal to give up and his ability to forge bonds with his opponents gradually became his greatest strengths. The boy whom Konoha once regarded as a problem child eventually became one of its greatest heroes, and finally realised his dream by becoming the Seventh Hokage.
