Origin and character background
Sasuke Uchiha is one of the central characters in the Naruto manga and anime (Naruto Classic era). The last survivor of Konoha’s prestigious and powerful Uchiha clan following the massacre of his kin by his own elder brother, Itachi, Sasuke is a solitary genius driven by a burning desire for revenge and justice. A member of Team 7 alongside Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno, under the tutelage of Kakashi Hatake, he quickly distinguishes himself through his innate mastery of fire techniques (Katon) and the awakening of the Sharingan, the hereditary dojutsu of his lineage. His complex, brotherly rivalry with Naruto remains the most powerful relational and dramatic driving force throughout the entire saga.
