This PVC figurine depicts the character Izuku Midoriya, alias Deku, from the My Hero Academia manga and anime. This model is produced by Banpresto as part of The Amazing Heroes Plus collectable range, a line dedicated to the franchise’s heroes.
The character is sculpted in a dynamic pose in full flight, wearing his green hero costume with blue energy effects symbolising the activation of his Quirk, One For All. The Amazing Heroes Plus range is characterised by its expressive sculptures and visual effects that evoke the series’ most memorable moments. The figurine comes in a sealed cardboard box featuring artwork in the franchise’s colours.
Technical specificationsIn the world of My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya was born without a Quirk in a world where the vast majority of the population possesses a superpower. Spotted by the greatest hero of all time, All Might, he becomes the designated heir to the Quirk ‘One For All’ – a colossal power passed down from generation to generation, which harnesses the strength of all his predecessors.
His journey at U.A. High School, an elite academy for future professional heroes, forms the narrative heart of the series created by Kohei Horikoshi in 2014. An iconic figure in modern shonen, Deku embodies perseverance and generosity in the face of adversity, gradually learning to master a power that transcends his own physical limits, in a world where the line between heroes and villains is becoming increasingly blurred.
