Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The Muppet Babies animated series, originally broadcast in the 1980s before receiving a modern reboot in 2018, depicts the tender childhood of the famous Muppet Show puppets. Under the watchful eye of their Nanny, the babies share a playroom full of exciting imaginary adventures. Rowlf, the phlegmatic pianist dog and great classical music fan, retains his love of the ivory keys and his calm temperament from an early age, often tempering the madness of his friends like Kermit, Piggy and Gonzo.
