Origin and world of the character
The Creeper character is the ultimate antagonist and icon of the cubic world of Minecraft, the sandbox video game created by Markus Persson (Notch) and developed by Swedish studio Mojang Studios since 2009. Accidentally born as a result of a coding error while the creator was trying to model a pig, the Creeper has become the most feared creature among gamers. This green, four-legged humanoid monster moves in total silence in dark environments. When it approaches a player, it emits a characteristic hissing sound like a lit fuse before exploding violently, destroying in the process the complex constructions patiently built by its users. This cuddly toy ironically captures the silhouette of this fearsome bomber, transforming a source of videogame frustration into a universal object of affection.
