This Monogram figurative money box depicts Wednesday Addams, the heroine of the *Wednesday* series, accompanied by The Thing on her shoulder. Made from PVC, it captures the character’s dark and instantly recognisable appearance in a size of approximately 20 cm, making it suitable for both decoration and storing coins.
Wednesday is depicted with her long black hair styled in plaits and her signature outfit, whilst The Thing completes the sculpture by perching on her shoulder. Together, they form a three-dimensional decorative piece directly inspired by the series’ gothic aesthetic.
A slot at the back allows coins to be inserted. A removable plastic cap located beneath the piggy bank then provides easy access to the contents without damaging the object.

Origin and character background (Lore)
Wednesday Addams is one of the most iconic members of the Addams Family. Intelligent, independent and fascinated by the macabre, she stands out for her dark humour, her impassive demeanour and her keen interest in mysteries.
In the series *Wednesday*, she enrols at Nevermore Academy, a school attended by pupils with supernatural abilities. There, she investigates a series of disturbing events whilst learning to control her own psychic visions.
The Thing is a living, autonomous hand that has long been part of the Addams Family universe. In the series, it accompanies Wednesday to Nevermore and becomes one of her most loyal allies. Able to communicate through gestures, The Thing helps her with her investigations, observes her surroundings and regularly steps in when Wednesday needs assistance.
The relationship between Wednesday and The Thing is based on a special bond: despite the young girl’s aloof nature, she places a great deal of trust in this strange hand. This piggy bank captures this duo perfectly, depicting The Thing perched on Wednesday’s shoulder.
