Add a true cosmic force to your collection with Galactus, the legendary Devourer of Worlds from the Marvel Universe, reimagined here in Beast Kingdom’s signature Egg Attack Action style. Despite its deliberately stylised proportions, this figure retains the essential elements of the character’s classic design: imposing purple and blue armour, a monumental helmet and a massive silhouette.
The Egg Attack Action range combines a recognisable chibi aesthetic with a design geared towards collectable articulated figures. Beast Kingdom officially describes EAA as its range of approximately 6-inch figures combining stylised proportions, high articulation and a high level of detail; Galactus is presented here in a significantly larger scale to emphasise his stature compared to the usual characters in the collection.
Crafted from PVC and ABS, this figure captures Galactus’s classic appearance as seen in the Marvel comics. Measuring 20.4 cm, it is a particularly striking piece within an Egg Attack Action collection and can be displayed alongside other Marvel heroes or villains to recreate the character’s deliberately exaggerated scale.
This interpretation is particularly suited to collectors who appreciate classic Marvel designs whilst seeking the compact and expressive style characteristic of Beast Kingdom’s creations.
Galactus is one of the most famous cosmic entities in the Marvel Universe. Before becoming the gigantic being known by that name, he was Galan, an inhabitant of the planet Taa from a previous universe. The destruction of that universe led to his transformation and rebirth as a cosmic power of exceptional magnitude.
Galactus must absorb the energy of planets to survive, which has earned him his famous nickname, the Devourer of Worlds. However, he does not always fit the traditional mould of a supervillain: his actions are frequently portrayed as the consequences of his own nature and his need to feed, rather than as a mere desire for destruction.
The character has historically been closely linked to the Fantastic Four. His appearances near Earth regularly pit Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm against a threat whose scale far exceeds that of a conventional adversary. This association also explains why BEM’S classifies this figurine under the Fantastic Four sub-licence.
Galactus is also famous for employing Heralds, beings to whom he bestows a portion of the Cosmic Power so that they may seek out worlds capable of satisfying his hunger. The most famous of these remains the Silver Surfer, whose story is deeply intertwined with that of the Devourer of Worlds.
This Egg Attack Action figurine thus brings one of Marvel’s greatest powers to life in Beast Kingdom’s deliberately compact and stylised style, whilst retaining the monumental silhouette and visual identity that make Galactus instantly recognisable.
