Character background and universe (Lore)
In the ruthless world of the Star Wars Outer Rim, IG-11 is initially introduced as a fearsome assassin droid from the Bounty Hunters’ Guild. After heroically sacrificing himself to save the child Grogu and the Mandalorian Din Djarin on the volcanic planet Nevarro, his remains are reverently recovered by the inhabitants. Fully rebuilt and reprogrammed thanks to the technical expertise of Anzellian engineers, he is stripped of his original aggressive protocols. Now the new Marshal of Nevarro, he proudly bears the insignia of his office and devotes his firepower to maintaining order and ensuring the city’s safety. This figure celebrates the triumphant return and mechanical redemption of an indomitable elite protector who now watches over galactic peace.
