This Claynel figurine depicts Mami Tomoe in her new magical girl form from the film *Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie – Walpurgisnacht: Rising*. Crafted in a non-scale format measuring approximately 21 cm in height including its base, it offers an elegant and faithful depiction of the character, with a composed pose that highlights her confident demeanour and instantly recognisable appearance.
Mami is shown here wearing her new costume designed for *Walpurgisnacht: Rising*. Claynel has paid particular attention to her gentle smile, her distinctive blonde hairstyle featuring two large side curls, and the numerous details of her magical girl outfit. Despite its relatively compact size, the sculpture retains a slender and detailed silhouette designed to capture the character’s refined nature.
The figurine is delivered fully painted and ready for display. It is made from PVC and ABS and stands on a dedicated base included in the set. Its official height is approximately 210 mm, including the base. This is not an articulated figurine: the pose is fixed and designed specifically for display in a showcase, on a shelf or alongside other characters from the Walpurgisnacht: Rising range.
The design brings together several Japanese specialists: the sculpting is carried out by KLAMPSTUDIO and ICREA, who also handle the painting, whilst Sentinel is involved in the production process. Good Smile Company is responsible for the international distribution of this Claynel creation.

Character background and lore
Mami Tomoe is a third-year pupil at Mitakihara Junior High School and an experienced magical girl. Being older and more seasoned than Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki when they first meet her, she naturally takes on the role of big sister and mentor to them. The official website describes her as an active magical girl who has entered into a contract with Kyubey and already possesses considerable combat experience.
Her powers are primarily based on the manipulation of magical ribbons. Mami can use these ribbons in various ways, notably to create the numerous firearms she employs in battle. Her arsenal of muskets is one of the character’s most distinctive visual features. Her signature attack, Tiro Finale, takes the form of an extremely powerful shot fired from a large weapon.
Her elegant appearance and composed demeanour contrast with the violence of the world in which the magical girls live. Mami generally seeks to reassure the younger girls and to fulfil her role with confidence, even though her experience has also taught her of the dangers faced by the fighters associated with Kyubey.
*Walpurgisnacht: Rising* is the direct sequel to the film *Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie –Rebellion–*. Mami returns in this new story alongside Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi, Sayaka Miki, Kyoko Sakura and Nagisa Momoe, with a magical girl appearance redesigned for the feature film.
This Claynel figurine is based precisely on this new incarnation. Rather than emphasising a spectacular attack, it highlights the elegance, serene smile and refined silhouette that characterise Mami, whilst incorporating the changes made to her costume for *Walpurgisnacht: Rising*.
