Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Aragorn, son of Arathorn and direct heir to Isildur, has long concealed his royal lineage under the guise of the ranger of the North nicknamed the Estel or Great Steps. In the third part of the saga, The Return of the King, he finally embraces his destiny to save the human world from annihilation. After having the sword of his ancestors reforged under the name of Andúril, the Flame of the West, he ventures onto the Paths of the Dead. With this divine blade, he forces Dunharrow's Army of the Dead - spectres cursed to have once betrayed their oath - to honour their promise of battle. This phosphorescent design captures the heroic moment when Aragorn, bathed in the spectral aura of his otherworldly allies, lands on the Pelennor Fields to break the siege of Minas Tirith.
