Standing approximately 10.4 cm tall, the figure depicts Hugo Ekitike in Liverpool’s red kit, with the ball at his feet and in a dynamic pose suggesting he is dribbling. This portrayal captures the profile of a mobile centre-forward capable of combining speed, technical ability and a strong presence in the opposition’s penalty area.

Player’s background and career (Lore)
Hugo Ekitike is a French striker born in Reims. After playing for the youth teams at Cormontreuil FC, he joined the Stade de Reims academy in 2013 and signed his first professional contract in 2020.
He made his debut for the Reims first team that same year before going out on loan to Vejle Boldklub in Denmark. On his return to France, his performances for Stade de Reims quickly caught the attention of several major European clubs.
Ekitike then joined Paris Saint-Germain, initially on loan. He made 33 appearances for the Parisian club and played a part in their French league title victory in the 2022–2023 season.
In January 2024, he went out on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt. The German club signed him on a permanent basis a few months later. His 2024–2025 season marked a significant milestone in his development: he scored 15 goals and provided 8 assists in 33 Bundesliga matches, helping Frankfurt to third place and qualification for the Champions League. He was also named in the German league’s Team of the Season.
Liverpool officially announced his signing in the summer of 2025 after he had spent one and a half seasons in Germany. Ekitike left Frankfurt having scored a total of 26 goals in 64 matches across all competitions.
He adapted quickly to English football. He scored after just a few minutes on his Liverpool debut in the Community Shield, then found the net in his first competitive matches for the Reds. Notably, he became the first Liverpool player since Daniel Sturridge to score in each of his first three matches for the club.
Wearing the number 22 shirt, Ekitike established himself as one of Liverpool’s attacking options thanks to his mobility, his ability to play in space and his clinical finishing. This POP! Football No. 118 captures him precisely at the start of this phase of his career in the Reds’ colours.
