Stitch is Experiment 626, an alien creature artificially created by the scientist Jumba Jookiba to possess exceptional strength, great intelligence and a formidable capacity for destruction.

After escaping and landing on Earth, he meets Lilo Pelekai in Hawaii. The young girl adopts him, thinking he is a particularly strange dog. Through his time with Lilo and her sister Nani, Stitch gradually discovers the concept of ‘Ohana’, which means that no one should be left behind or forgotten.

Beneath his chaotic behaviour and penchant for mischief, Stitch develops a deep attachment to his new family and becomes one of the most popular characters in the Disney universe.

In this version, Stitch pays homage to the Mad Hatter, an iconic character from Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Hatter is known for his eccentric behaviour, his riddles, his famous never-ending tea party and his large hat bearing the label ‘10/6’.
