LILO & STITCH EXPERIMENTS - POP Deluxe N° 1833 - Leroy

LILO & STITCH – Leroy – POP! Deluxe No. 1833 – Experiments

Meet Leroy, Experiment 629, with this Funko POP! Deluxe No. 1833 figure from the Lilo & Stitch Experiments collection. This edition features Stitch’s fearsome doppelgänger inside a transparent containment capsule, following on from the models dedicated to Stitch, Angel, Slushy and Splodyhead. Funko officially presents Leroy as Stitch’s ‘evil cousin’.

Leroy retains his distinctive appearance, directly inspired by Stitch, but with red fur, large ears and a decidedly more menacing expression. The character is housed within the ‘Experiments’ series’ technological display, comprising a base and a large transparent dome. This presentation immediately evokes the laboratory origins of the various genetic experiments created by Jumba.

Character origin and backstory (Lore)

Leroy was created by Jumba Jookiba in the film *Leroy & Stitch* when Dr Hämsterviel, having escaped from prison, forced the scientist to design an evil double of Stitch. Hämsterviel then has this new creature cloned in order to build his own army and oppose Lilo, Stitch and the other rehabilitated experiments. Disney officially presents Leroy as Stitch’s ‘evil twin’.

Identified by Funko as Experiment 629, Leroy has a silhouette very similar to Stitch’s, but is distinguished in particular by his red colour and his role as an antagonist. In *Leroy & Stitch*, he thus becomes the key instrument in Hämsterviel’s plan and finds himself at the head of a veritable legion of clones. This POP! Deluxe No. 1833 returns to his experimental origins by depicting him still trapped in his containment capsule, alongside Jumba’s other creations from the Experiments collection.
