Origin and background of the collection (Lore)

LEGO minifigures have become one of the brand’s most recognisable symbols. Introduced in the late 1970s, they have since featured in thousands of sets spanning a wide variety of themes, from cityscapes to fantasy worlds and space exploration.

The classic LEGO astronaut holds a special place in the brand’s history. With his helmet, space suit and emblem inspired by space exploration, he is a direct nod to the golden age of the first LEGO Space sets.

This Astronaut Minifig Icon Light reimagines this iconic figure in a luminous and decorative format, transforming an iconic minifigure into a decorative piece for LEGO fans and lovers of retro design.
