Origin and backstory of the character
Luxanna Crownguard, better known as Lux, is one of the most popular and iconic characters in League of Legends, the famous MOBA video game developed by Riot Games. Hailing from the powerful kingdom of Demacia, an isolationist region where the use of magic is strictly forbidden and persecuted, Lux was born into the prestigious Crownguard lineage, a family dedicated to protecting the king. Forced to hide her extraordinary abilities throughout her childhood so as not to bring shame upon her family, she secretly learnt to master and manipulate pure light. Endowed with a deeply optimistic nature, great kindness and unwavering courage, the young mage eventually put her powers of light at the service of her homeland to repel external threats, becoming a beacon of hope amidst the prejudices of her kingdom.
