Immerse yourself in the dark and poetic atmosphere of The Nightmare Before Christmas with this snow globe dedicated to Zero, Jack Skellington’s faithful ghost dog. Crafted by Grupo Erik, this ornament combines a richly detailed miniature scene with a base inspired by the Gothic settings of Halloween Town.
Inside the globe, Zero is depicted in mid-flight above a snow-covered landscape. His spectral white body, long fluttering ears, red collar and small orange pumpkin-shaped nose are faithfully reproduced. The scene is completed by silhouettes of bats, mountainous reliefs and elements reminiscent of the film’s winding landscapes. When the globe is shaken, tiny white particles swirl around the figure to create a snow effect.
The circular plinth resembles a dark brick wall covered in snow. A garland of multicoloured fairy lights winds its way around the base, illustrating the fusion of Halloween Town’s macabre aesthetic with Christmas decorations. Two gravestone plaques bear the inscriptions ‘ZERO’ and ‘LOYAL TO THE GRAVE’, reinforcing the piece’s simultaneously endearing and macabre character.
With an 80 mm globe and a total height of approximately 11.5 cm, this snow globe makes a compact decoration for a shelf, a desk or a Disney collection. It is particularly suited to fans of Zero, Jack Skellington and the visual world created by Tim Burton.
Zero is the ghost dog of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. Despite his ghostly appearance, he behaves like a loyal and affectionate companion, always ready to follow his master on his adventures.
The character is distinguished by his glowing nose, shaped like a small orange pumpkin. When Jack attempts to take Santa’s place, Zero uses this light to guide his sleigh through the fog, in a direct reference to Rudolph’s role in traditional Christmas stories.
His presence adds a touch of tenderness to the film’s gothic world. The inscription ‘Loyal to the Grave’ on the plinth perfectly sums up his character: even beyond death, Zero remains entirely devoted to Jack and is one of his most steadfast companions.
