Discover Kasane Teto in a version directly inspired by her famous love of French bread with this Noodle Stopper Figure from FuRyu. Standing approximately 14 cm tall, this ‘Baguette’ edition depicts the virtual singer in a bakery-themed outfit, seated whilst carefully clutching a long baguette to her chest.
Here, Teto swaps her usual outfit for an ensemble in warm colours. She wears a brown beret, a matching top with a red scarf, and a light-coloured apron. Her iconic drill-shaped pigtails remain instantly recognisable, whilst the baguette placed at the centre of the composition naturally forms the main feature of this variant. This version features a bakery-themed design illustrated by Nemari.
Like the other items in the Noodle Stopper collection, the figurine is in a seated position, allowing it to be placed on the edge of a shelf, a desk or a piece of furniture. The original concept behind the range also involves placing the figurine on the lid of a packet of instant noodles to keep it closed whilst they are being prepared.

Kasane Teto is a virtual singer born out of a collective online initiative. The character was created in 2008 by users of the Japanese forum 2channel as part of an April Fool’s Day prank: Teto was presented at the time as a supposed new character in Crypton Future Media’s VOCALOID range. The project was fictional, and Teto is not officially a VOCALOID.
Following this humorous beginning, a genuine voice bank was developed using the voice of Oyamano Mayo for use with the UTAU voice synthesis software. The character gradually gained a large following and became a virtual singer in her own right. In April 2023, to mark her fifteenth anniversary, Teto was also given a new Synthesizer V AI voice bank, ahead of the release of Synthesizer V 2 AI in 2025.
Her official design is characterised in particular by her reddish-brown hair arranged in two long twisted strands, her red eyes and her deliberately whimsical status as a ‘chimera’. Her profile also attributes to her a particular passion for French bread, which has, over time, become one of her most recognisable symbols. This ‘Baguette’ statuette thus directly transforms this historic element of the character into the main theme of the composition.
