K-ON! - Mio Akiyama - Statue BiCute Dark 24cm

K-ON! — Mio Akiyama — 24 cm BiCute Dark figurine

Meet Mio Akiyama, the reserved bassist of the band Ho-kago Tea Time, in a dark and elegant interpretation from FuRyu’s BiCute Dark collection.

The K-ON! musician is depicted in a black outfit inspired by a little demon. Her costume combines a fitted dress, small horns, bat wings, a tail ending in a heart-shaped tip and a matching necklace. Long fishnet stockings and high boots complete this gothic look, which contrasts with the character’s usually shy personality.

Mio strikes a delicate pose with a faint smile. Her long black hair, gentle expression and slender figure make her instantly recognisable as one of the most popular members of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club.

Measuring approximately 24 cm, this pre-painted figurine is made from ATBC-PVC and ABS. It comes with a themed base and requires no painting or complex assembly.

Its large size and sombre aesthetic make it a display piece well-suited to a collection dedicated to K-ON!, Mio Akiyama or FuRyu’s various BiCute figurines.

Character background and universe

Mio Akiyama is one of the founding members of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club in K-ON!. She plays the bass in the band Ho-kago Tea Time, alongside Yui Hirasawa, Ritsu Tainaka, Tsumugi Kotobuki and Azusa Nakano.

Serious, studious and particularly dedicated to her music, Mio regularly tries to keep her friends focused during rehearsals. However, she is very shy by nature and gets easily embarrassed, particularly when she becomes the centre of attention.

She also writes a large proportion of the band’s lyrics and sometimes takes the lead vocals. Despite her lack of self-confidence, her musical talent, her sense of responsibility and her close bond with Ritsu make her an essential member of Ho-kago Tea Time.

The BiCute Dark range reimagines popular characters in dark outfits inspired by fantastical creatures. This version thus combines Mio’s gentleness with the appearance of a little gothic demon, whilst retaining her characteristic hairstyle and expression.
