Character background and lore
In the refreshing and musical world of K-ON!, Azusa Nakano is the only student a year younger to join the school’s music club, becoming the second guitarist in the band Ho-kago Tea Time (After-School Tea Time). Welcomed enthusiastically by her seniors, who immediately bestow upon her the nickname Azu-nyan (notably by making her wear cat ears), Azusa brings a touch of discipline and seriousness to the band’s repetitive tea breaks. Coming from a family of jazz musicians, her immense talent on the guitar inspires her bandmates and strengthens the group’s musical chemistry. This figurine celebrates one of the most popular mascots of the 2010s musical slice-of-life genre, establishing itself as an essential centrepiece for any collector nostalgic for the franchise.
