Origin and universe
Directly inspired by the revolutionary film saga launched by Steven Spielberg in 1993, this prestigious chess set, brought to life by The Noble Collection, reinvents the most famous of strategy games in the colours of Jurassic Park. Gone are the traditional kings, queens and knights of the medieval era: make way for the fearsome predators and majestic herbivores born of InGen’s genetic engineering on Isla Nublar.
Each side faces off on a stylised game board that replaces the black and white squares with a contrast of forest green and mineral black. The edges of the board are teeming with meticulous visual details: inlaid bone and fossil patterns, cracks in the ground evoking the passage of dinosaurs, as well as the iconic park gate logo. From the little Pteranodon pawns guarding the front line to the ultimate showdown between King T-Rex and Queen Spinosaurus, this set stands out as a masterpiece that is both playful and decorative. An exceptional gift, ideal for enhancing the coffee table or display cabinet of any pop culture or palaeontology enthusiast.
