Meet Feitan, one of the most formidable members of the Phantom Troupe in Hunter × Hunter, with this Noodle Stopper Figure from FuRyu. Standing approximately 14 cm tall, it depicts the character in a relaxed, seated pose that contrasts with his particularly dangerous nature. This item is a re-release of the figurine originally released in 2024.
Feitan is depicted wearing his characteristic dark outfit, comprising a loose-fitting black garment and a scarf adorned with a skull motif covering the lower half of his face. He also carries his long red umbrella over his shoulder, an accessory directly associated with his arsenal in the series. His black hair, narrow gaze and impassive expression immediately reinforce the character’s menacing appearance.
Like the other models in the Noodle Stopper collection, the figurine is specially sculpted to sit on the edge of a shelf, piece of furniture or desk. It can also fulfil the function that inspired the range’s concept: holding the lid of a packet of instant noodles shut whilst they are being prepared.
Feitan is one of the original members of the Phantom Brigade, the criminal organisation also known as the Genei Ryodan. Originally from Meteor City, he is number 2 in the Brigade. A man of few words and particularly cold-hearted, he serves as the group’s interrogator and torturer. His small stature belies his formidable speed and physical abilities.
In combat, Feitan wields an umbrella concealing a weapon, which explains the highly visible presence of this accessory on the figurine. A user of the Transformation-type Nen, he also possesses the Pain Packer technique, the power of which depends on the injuries and pain he has endured. Its best-known variant, Rising Sun, manifests an extremely intense heat capable of consuming nearby opponents.
Feitan plays a particularly significant role during the clash between the Phantom Brigade and the Chimera Ants in Meteor City, where his battle against Zazan reveals the full extent of his power. This Noodle Stopper figurine, however, chooses to depict a much calmer side of the character, whilst retaining his instantly recognisable equipment and appearance.
