Technical specificationsNekomata Okayu is a virtual YouTuber representing the Japanese agency Hololive Production (Cover Corp.), having started her career in 2019 as part of the Hololive Gamers sub-group. Her virtual character takes the form of a nekomata, a feline creature from Japanese folklore, which gives her her distinctive appearance with her purple cat ears and tail. Known for her deep, soothing voice, her laid-back sense of humour and her love of video games, she is one of the most popular VTubers on the global scene.
