HATSUNE MIKU - Flowers Fairy Winter - Statue Noodle Stopper 15cm

Discover Hatsune Miku in a winter-themed, botanical design with this ‘Flower Fairy Winter Cherry Green Colour Ver.’ figurine produced by FuRyu. Part of the Noodle Stopper Figure collection, it measures approximately 15 cm and depicts the virtual singer in a seated pose specially designed to be placed on the edge of a shelf, a desk or even on the lid of a packet of instant noodles. 

This variant is dedicated to the Winter Cherry, also known as hōzuki, a plant recognisable by its calyxes shaped like small lanterns. Here, Hatsune Miku wears a predominantly green, Japanese-inspired outfit, consisting of a loose-fitting, long-sleeved top, a belt and details in darker, reddish tones. Her famous turquoise hair fades into pale green shades at the ends and is adorned with red berries and leaves that directly echo the figurine’s botanical theme. 

The display is completed by a large plant-inspired lantern that Miku holds at the end of a stem. This accessory echoes the characteristic shape of the hōzuki and reinforces the collection’s ‘flower fairy’ concept. The seated pose, with crossed legs and a gentle expression, lends a calm and elegant air to the figure, whilst the wedge heels and their small red embellishments add a more contemporary touch to the outfit. The original illustration used for this version is attributed to Omutatsu. 

Like FuRyu’s other Noodle Stoppers, this figurine does not require a traditional base: its stance allows it to be placed directly on the edge of a surface. It can therefore simply serve as a collectable figurine or fulfil the original function of the range, designed to hold the lid of a packet of instant noodles in place whilst they are being prepared.

Character background and lore

Hatsune Miku was originally a voice synthesis programme developed by Crypton Future Media. Launched on 31 August 2007, it enables creators to produce a singing voice by entering lyrics and a melody. The character associated with the software – fictitiously aged 16 and recognisable by her long blue-green pigtails – has gradually become a virtual singer in her own right and a major figure in digital music creation. 

What sets Hatsune Miku apart is her highly open-ended nature: she does not have a single narrative story comparable to that of a traditional manga character. Musicians and illustrators can continually reinterpret her through new songs, outfits and visual styles. This collaborative culture has given rise to a vast array of official representations, ranging from her classic digital outfit to much more elaborate seasonal designs. 

FuRyu’s Flower Fairy range fits perfectly into this concept by transforming Miku into a little fairy associated with various flowers and plants. This Winter Cherry Green Colour Ver. edition draws inspiration from the hōzuki and its lantern-like seed pods. The green outfit, the red ornaments in her hair and the accessory she holds in her hand reflect this theme whilst retaining the turquoise hair instantly associated with Hatsune Miku.
