Discover Hatsune Miku in her DecoMiku (Darkness) version with this POP UP PARADE L Size figure produced by Good Smile Company. Designed as part of the visual universe created by DECO*27 and OTOIRO, this interpretation showcases the darker side of DecoMiku in a figure standing approximately 22 cm tall. The POP UP PARADE L range features larger, non-articulated figurines, designed to offer a presence similar to that of a scale model.
This ‘Darkness’ version is characterised by an aesthetic dominated by black and bright pink. Miku wears a black crop top with a heart-shaped cut-out, paired with dark shorts, decorative straps and asymmetrical fishnet tights. Tall black boots with pink laces continue this contrasting colour scheme. Her long turquoise-blue hair features several pink strands and is styled in a highly stylised manner, whilst her red eyes and numerous accessories reinforce the character’s darker persona.
The pose also plays on this personality: DecoMiku stands with her hips slightly swayed, one hand placed near her face whilst the other remains behind her back. The details of the costume, fishnet stockings, shoes and hair ornaments are highlighted by the L-scale format. The sculpture is by Sparrow, with colouring by Tomofumi (WATANA BOX). The figure comes pre-painted with its display stand.

Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer developed by Crypton Future Media, who first appeared in 2007 as a vocal bank enabling creators to produce their own songs. Her visual identity, featuring long blue-green pigtails, has since become the basis for countless interpretations by musicians, illustrators and creators from around the world.
More specifically, DecoMiku is a version of Hatsune Miku designed around the musical universe of DECO*27. Two complementary facets have been developed: DecoMiku (Lightness), which appeared in 2023 and is associated with the bright, energetic and pop side of her songs, and DecoMiku (Darkness), officially unveiled on 9 March 2024. OTOIRO describes this second incarnation as a deliberately darker Miku, whilst the official Piapro blog states that she embodies the more tormented feelings, inner conflicts and impulses present in DECO*27’s work.
The design of both DecoMiku avatars was entrusted to the illustrator Omotatsu. Lightness and Darkness have since appeared in videos, merchandise and the DecoMiku Comic, a series of short stories published from December 2024 onwards that follows their daily lives and their journey towards their dreams.
The two incarnations also appeared together on stage at the DecoMiku LIVE starring Hatsune Miku “Hello”, produced by DECO*27 and OTOIRO in February 2026. In the show, Lightness represents the brighter, more positive emotions in her music, whilst Darkness embodies a more introspective and conflicted side. This POP UP PARADE L specifically brings DecoMiku (Darkness) to life as a 22 cm figurine, featuring her black and pink outfit, red eyes and a deliberately more striking aesthetic.
