HATSUNE MIKU - Conceptual Series Vol.2 Stroll - Figure Luminasta 21cm

This Luminasta figurine from SEGA Goods depicts Hatsune Miku from the Conceptual Series Vol. 2 ‘Stroll’, also known in Japan as the ‘Osanpo Ver.’. Standing approximately 21 cm tall and made from PVC, this collectable figure brings to life in three dimensions an original illustration by Mashiro Kta in which the famous Virtual Singer takes on a light-hearted and relaxed appearance, inspired by the theme of a stroll.

Miku is depicted in a dynamic pose, balancing on one leg whilst the other is bent backwards. She wears a light grey, long-sleeved crop top adorned with a small blue bow, a sky-blue pleated skirt and white trainers with colourful details. A light blue cap completes this casual outfit, which is very different from her classic Virtual Singer costume. Her long turquoise pigtails are tied with large pale green bows, which accentuate the spring-like and luminous character of the design.

The figurine is part of SEGA’s Luminasta range, dedicated to pre-painted prize figures that emphasise the characters’ visual presence and showcase their costumes. This item is due to be released in Japan from March 2027 and comprises a single model.

Character background and lore

Hatsune Miku was originally the character associated with voice synthesis software developed by Crypton Future Media. The software allows users to create a singing voice by entering lyrics and a melody. Following the launch of the software’s first version in 2007, the musical creations published by users online quickly transformed Miku into a genuine international cultural phenomenon

In her official profile, Hatsune Miku is depicted as a 16-year-old girl standing 158 cm tall, with blue-green as her signature colour. Her voice is based on that of the actress Saki Fujita. Beyond the software, Miku has gradually become a Virtual Singer appearing in concerts, video games, artistic collaborations and countless creations by illustrators and musicians.

Unlike a figurine based on an anime or a game with a specific storyline, this Conceptual Series Vol. 2 ‘Stroll’ does not correspond to any particular transformation of Miku within a narrative. It is based on an original artistic interpretation by Mashiro Kta centred on the theme of a stroll. This creative freedom is directly in keeping with the identity of Hatsune Miku, whose universe has been shaped since her inception by the many reinterpretations offered by creators from around the world.
