Goosebumps, known in French as Chair de poule, is a series of horror novels for young adults created by R. L. Stine in the early 1990s. Each volume tells a standalone story combining supernatural phenomena, cursed objects, monsters and unsettling situations.
*Say Cheese and Die!* is one of the series’ most iconic novels. The story follows Greg Banks, a teenager who, along with his friends, discovers a strange old camera in an abandoned house.
Greg soon realises that the photographs taken with the camera do not simply show the present: they seem to foreshadow tragic events yet to come. Each photograph thus becomes a threat, transforming an ordinary object into a genuine source of danger.
With its simple yet highly effective concept, *Say Cheese and Die!* has become one of the most memorable titles in the *Goosebumps* series. This POP! Books No. 58 pays tribute to it by recreating its visual identity and supernatural atmosphere in a collector’s edition.
