Character background and universe (Lore)

Christopher M. Lavigne, nicknamed ‘Law’, is the military police specialist on the G.I. Joe team. Originally from Houston, Texas, he first worked as a police officer before joining the military police alongside his German Shepherd, Order. His main specialism is military police work, whilst intelligence is also part of his remit.

Law is an experienced dog handler with a particular affinity for animals. Together with Order, he is responsible for the security of G.I. Joe facilities and for implementing procedures designed to prevent infiltration and attacks by Cobra.

Order is much more than just a companion: the German Shepherd and Law form a genuine operational team. Their coordination, discipline and ability to work together make them a particularly effective duo for surveillance, search operations and security interventions.

Originally appearing in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero range in 1987, Law & Order are reimagined here in the modern style of the Classified Series, whilst retaining their identity as the iconic handler-dog duo of the G.I. Joe universe.
