Character background and lore
Inspired by the famous classic 1990s television series, Ross Geller is an intellectual who has spent much of his adult life pursuing a single goal: to gain recognition for his scientific work whilst finding a stable romantic life. As Monica’s older brother, he navigates everyday life in Manhattan amidst the turmoil of his repeated divorces, learning to hide his anxieties behind a cynical sense of humour in order to develop strength of character in the face of his loved ones’ taunts. Guided by his moral values and an unwavering quest for renewal, he strives to shake up his routine through a series of personal challenges. This marks the start of a demanding journey, in which the young man uses his determination to navigate comical situations — such as the impulsive purchase of a pair of tight-fitting leather trousers that end up completely stuck during a date —, becoming the indispensable member who maintains the balance within his group of loyal companions.
