Funko has dedicated a Disney POP! figure to Flubber, the strange green, elastic substance created by Professor Philip Brainard in the Disney film Flubber. This version depicts the little creature wearing a pair of glasses, in the characteristic style of POP! figures, with a compact silhouette and an instantly recognisable expression.
The figure stands out for its translucent appearance, specially chosen to replicate Flubber’s gelatinous and partially transparent look on screen. The character’s bright green colour, combined with the dark glasses, highlights the contrast between its unusual material and this humorous accessory.
Made from PVC and presented in an illustrated display box, this figurine can be displayed in its packaging or alongside other characters from the Disney universe. In particular, it complements the POP! & Buddy figurine featuring Professor Brainard and Weebo from the same Flubber series.

Flubber appears in the Disney film of the same name, released in 1997. The story follows Professor Philip Brainard, a brilliant but particularly absent-minded scientist seeking to develop a new source of energy that could, in particular, help Medfield College. His experiments accidentally lead to the creation of a strange, extremely elastic green substance: Flubber.
This substance possesses extraordinary properties. When applied to an object, it can cause it to bounce to spectacular heights and at incredible speeds. Unlike the Flubber in the 1961 Disney film *The Absent-Minded Professor*, the 1997 version also has a personality of its own – mischievous and hard to control – which makes it practically a character in its own right.
Its green, gelatinous and semi-transparent appearance has become one of the film’s most distinctive visual features. The translucent finish chosen by Funko for this POP! figure is specifically designed to capture this characteristic whilst adapting Flubber to the collection’s stylised design.
