Origin and background of the character
The Barrel Cactus figurine is part of an original themed series developed by Funko to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the botanical world through the lens of pop culture. Moving away from the usual film or comic book heroes, this collection humanises the world’s flora by giving it the cute, distinctive features characteristic of the brand’s figurines.
The barrel cactus, a famous succulent native to desert regions and recognisable by its spherical shape and rows of sharp spines, embodies nature’s resilience and the modern passion for exotic houseplants. This figurine transforms this timeless design into a decorative piece, ideal for bringing a Zen-inspired, sunny and decidedly original aesthetic to the shelf of any nature or interior design enthusiast.
