Origin and character’s universe
Released in cinemas in 1999 to celebrate the turn of the millennium, the animated feature film Fantasia 2000 follows in the noble tradition of the 1940 experimental masterpiece, blending sublime animated sequences with renowned pieces of classical music. TheSpring Sprite is the central heroine of the film’s eighth and final segment, set entirely to Igor Stravinsky’s ballet suite The Firebird.
