The History and Lore of the Item
Kaworu Nagisa is a unique figure at the heart of the Evangelion saga. Designated as the Fifth Child by the SEELE organisation, he is sent to NERV to replace Asuka as the pilot of Evangelion Unit-02. But his true nature far exceeds that of a mere teenager: he is, in fact, the reincarnation of the soul of Adam, the First Angel. Despite his divine and tragic origins, Kaworu develops an immediate empathy and deep attachment to Shinji Ikari, offering him unconditional affection and a listening ear during his darkest moments. His ultimate sacrifice remains one of the work’s most emotionally charged moments, illustrating his choice to preserve the future of the Lilins (humanity) at the expense of his own existence. This figurine captures his benevolent demeanour and his regal composure in the face of destiny.
