Malenia, Blade of Miquella, is a demigoddess and one of the most famous characters inElden Ring. Miquella’s twin sister, she has been afflicted by the Scarlet Rot since birth, yet despite this curse remains a fighter of exceptional power. Her golden armour, prosthetic limb and winged helmet have become instantly recognisable features of her appearance.
During the War of the Shattering, Malenia notably faced General Radahn at the Battle of Aeonia. Their duel ranks amongst the major events in the history of the Middle Lands and contributed to the spread of the Scarlet Rot throughout Caelid. Having subsequently withdrawn to the heart of the Haligtree in Miquella, Malenia remains one of the most formidable and memorable adversaries encountered throughout the adventure.
