Meet Edward, the melancholic hero of *Edward Scissorhands*, with this Funko POP! Movies No. 2147 figurine, which depicts him sitting in an iconic pose. This version captures the character’s gothic and fragile aesthetic in Funko’s instantly recognisable style.
The figurine highlights Edward’s distinctive visual features: his tousled black hair, his pale complexion, his sombre outfit and, above all, his famous hands made of metal blades. The seated pose emphasises the character’s introverted and solitary nature, whilst offering a different take on the classic standing POP! figures.
Presented in an illustrated window box, this POP! is an ideal addition for collectors of Tim Burton, fantasy cinema or figurines depicting the great Gothic icons of cinema.

Edward is the protagonist of the film *Edward Scissorhands*, directed by Tim Burton in 1990. He is the unfinished creation of an inventor who dies before he can give him human hands, leaving Edward with long metal blades in place of his fingers.
After living in isolation in a mansion, Edward is taken in by Peg Boggs and gradually discovers life in an American suburb. His exceptional talent for hedge-trimming and hairdressing initially makes him popular with the locals.
Despite his kindness and great sensitivity, Edward remains profoundly different from others. His appearance and his inability to control his hands perfectly lead to misunderstandings, accidents and rejection, whilst his relationship with Kim Boggs becomes the emotional heart of the story.
With its blend of gothic tale, romance and social commentary, *Edward Scissorhands* has become one of Tim Burton’s most iconic films. This POP! No. 2147 perfectly captures the loneliness and fragility that define Edward throughout the story.
