DRAGON BALL Z - Frieza - Hooded Sweat (XXL)

This Dragon Ball Z hoodie features Frieza, one of the most iconic antagonists in the series created by Akira Toriyama. Manufactured by Cotton Division, it features a grey base combined with white, black and purple motifs directly inspired by the character’s distinctive appearance.

The front of the garment features a relatively understated design, with the Dragon Ball Z logo positioned above a small illustration of Frieza. The back expands on the theme much more prominently with a large full-length depiction of the character, accompanied by his name ‘FREEZA’ arranged vertically.

The colour scheme primarily features white and purple – colours associated with Frieza’s design – complemented by black elements for the outlines and lettering. The grey background of the sweatshirt allows these various elements to stand out whilst maintaining a look that is easy to incorporate into an everyday outfit.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Freeza is one of the main antagonists in Dragon Ball Z. At the head of a vast galactic empire, he rules over numerous planets by force and, in particular, uses the Saiyans to conquer worlds before selling them on.

Fearing the growing power of the Saiyan people and the possible emergence of the legendary Super Saiyan, Frieza orders the destruction of Planet Vegeta. This event makes him a central figure in the story of Goku, Vegeta and the entire Saiyan race.

Frieza plays a particularly important role during the Planet Namek arc. He searches for the Dragon Balls in order to gain immortality and successively faces off against the Earth warriors, the Namekians and Vegeta. His battle against Goku is one of the series’ major showdowns and leads to Goku’s first transformation into a Super Saiyan.

The character has several forms that allow him to either contain or gradually unleash his power. His best-known appearance is characterised by a predominantly white body, purple patches and a long tail – elements directly featured in the illustration on the back of this sweatshirt.
