This Dragon Ball Z collectable figurine depicts Son Goku and Son Gohan in one of the saga’s most iconic moments: the Father-Son Kamehameha used during the final battle against Cell. The pair are part of the MASTERLISE PLUS range and constitute the Last One Prize in the Dragon Ball DRAGON OMNIBUS ~Battle of Gods~ Ichiban Kuji. Son Goku measures approximately 17 cm, whilst Son Gohan measures approximately 13.5 cm.
The set brings the two characters together in the characteristic Kamehameha pose, with Gohan at the heart of the action and Goku depicted at his side to symbolise his support. The Super Saiyan hairstyles, the intense expressions and the folds in their outfits enhance the visual impact of the scene and allow this decisive moment from Dragon Ball Z to be instantly recognised.
Made from PVC, this set is designed as a display piece. The MASTERLISE PLUS label is used by Bandai Spirits for products featuring more elaborate staging or scale than the classic MASTERLISE figures.
The Father-Son Kamehameha takes place at the end of the Cell Games, when Son Gohan has reached the Super Saiyan 2 stage and appears to have become the only fighter capable of defeating Cell. After being destroyed and then returning in an even more powerful form, Cell launches a Kamehameha intended to destroy the Earth.
Injured and unable to use one of his arms properly, Gohan responds with a one-handed Kamehameha. From the afterlife, Son Goku – who had died moments earlier whilst sacrificing himself to teleport Cell away from Earth – encourages his son and symbolically helps him unleash his full power. This scene gave rise to the name ‘Father-Son Kamehameha’.
Vegeta’s intervention finally creates the opening Gohan needs to gain a decisive advantage. He then unleashes all his energy and overwhelms Cell’s attack, destroying the bio-android once and for all. This sequence is one of the narrative highlights of the Cell Saga: Gohan surpasses his father in power whilst drawing on Goku’s encouragement and legacy to win the fight.
