The history and lore of the object
During the final of the adult division of the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai, C-18 finds herself up against Mr. Satan. Aware of her opponent's immense popularity and reputation as a global hero, the fearsome cyborg decides to make a secret pact rather than crush him instantly. In exchange for an astronomical sum of money far exceeding the official tournament prize, she agrees to fake a theatrical defeat so that he can retain his world title and his honour in front of a delirious public.
This figurine showcases the unique movements of this rigged confrontation, enhanced by the dynamism of the Match Makers collection, which specialises in reproducing legendary duels. It faithfully reproduces the calculated attacking stance of the young woman and the terrified yet theatrical expression of the champion. A striking snapshot that bears witness to the cunning and cult moments of this unforgettable saga.
