Origin and universe of the series
Dragon Ball Daima is a major and particularly symbolic work within the global franchise created by Akira Toriyama. Designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original manga, this animated series takes Son Goku and his legendary comrades-in-arms into the heart of a mysterious conspiracy. Victims of a secret plot that shrinks them back to their childhood sizes, the heroes must explore an unknown world and face formidable new adversaries to break the curse and regain their original forms. Banpresto’s “Softbits” collection pays a vibrant tribute to this refreshing artistic direction by offering sculptures that brilliantly encapsulate the characters’ visual identity and dynamism in a pocket-sized format with impeccable finishes.
