Origin and character’s universe
Released in cinemas in 1997, *Hercules* is Disney Studios’ 50th animated classic, offering a modern and fast-paced retelling of the adventures of the famous demigod from mythology. The son of Zeus and Hera, the infant Hercules is transformed into a mortal by the minions of his scheming uncle Hades, whilst retaining incredible superhuman strength. To reclaim his rightful place amongst the gods, he must prove his worth on Earth by becoming a ‘true hero’ with the help of his trainer Philoctetes and his winged horse Pegasus. This Funko Pop! figurine faithfully captures the protagonist’s muscular build and dynamic appearance, making it a timeless centrepiece for all fans of Disney’s Golden Age productions.
