Origin and character universe
Diaboromon is the legendary central antagonist of the famous animated film Digimon: Our War Game! (included in the Western feature film Digimon: The Movie), directed by Mamoru Hosoda in 2000. This unknown Mega-level Digimon grows at a terrifying rate on the internet after absorbing vast amounts of computer data. A malevolent entity devoid of emotion, Diaboromon hacks into global military systems to trigger the launch of a nuclear missile towards Tokyo whilst overwhelming the DigiSavers with millions of digital clones of himself. Its terrifying power forces WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to fuse in desperation, giving birth to the legendary Omnimon (Omegamon) in order to save humanity at the last minute. Banpresto’s “Ichibansho” sub-category is acclaimed worldwide by discerning collectors for its superior finish and rigorous anatomical accuracy. This figurine captures with remarkable precision its enormous arms, sharp claws and bloodshot predatory gaze, establishing itself as a centrepiece to enhance your geek display cabinet.
