Origin and character’s universe
Wade Wilson, alias Deadpool, is one of the most unconventional and eccentric anti-heroes in the Marvel Comics universe, created in the early 1990s by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld. A survivor of a traumatic military experiment that granted him an exceptional accelerated healing factor at the expense of his mental health and physical appearance, he carries out his mercenary contracts with utter disregard for convention. This ‘Deadpool in Bathrobe’ edition figurine perfectly captures his legendary habit of breaking the fourth wall and staging himself in ordinary domestic situations that are completely at odds with his status as an elite assassin.
