Origin and character’s universe
Emerging from the dark pages of the DC Comics event *Dark Nights: Death Metal*, written by Scott Snyder, the Robin King is one of the most sadistic and fearsome lieutenants of the Laughing Batman. Hailing from the Black Multiverse, this alternate version of Bruce Wayne descended into murderous madness from a very young age, murdering his own parents in a Gotham alleyway instead of vowing to fight crime. Devoid of superpowers but endowed with an extraordinary, macabre intelligence, he has spent his life studying the weaknesses of every superhero on his Earth in order to devise specific weapons capable of eliminating them one by one. Crowned with a wreath of thorns and driven by pure cruelty, this character has become a modern icon of comic-book horror. This Funko Pop! figurine perfectly captures the sinister appearance and Machiavellian smile of this young ruler of chaos.
